Hymns In Yoruba Churches | Ep13 - Ki lo le we ese mi nu

If you grew up in a CAC church, this will make you feel nostalgic.

Which of the characters can you relate with the most?

Meanwhile, the message in this hymn is so liberating, to realise that the only liberation we will ever need from sin is in the blood of Jesus. All we have to do is accept him as our Lord and Saviour.

ISOJI BATTLE - Episode 1

A quick story on how/why I came up with this concept.

First of all, God gave me my creativity so all glory belongs to him.

Ehen oya read the story..

So sometime ago, I heard someone sang a song randomly somewhere and it was one of the revival songs we used to sing back in the days in my church, I was taken aback as to how I had not heard that song in over 15 years, and I realized I had even forgotten it if not that I heard it again on that day.

Then it dawned on me how most of these songs might go extinct if something is not done. So this is my own quota. I decided to make it dramatic/entertaining so it can attract the younger generation, especially the children, so while they are watching it for fun, they are subconsciously learning it and their spirits possibly being fired up/revived in the process.

Sorry for the plenty stories, oya watch the video below.

Please drop a comment, let me know what song you will like featured on the next episode.

Today's client is a young man that reached out to have something made for his parent's 28th wedding anniversary and this is the result below.

If you were born in the 80's and probably early 90s, you should be able to sing this one offhand. In fact I believe it transcends through all generations. It is definitely one of my favorites, hence why I had to do my version.

Enjoy and celebrate with our today's OhEmGee Hymn of the day - Heaven came down.

Anasi Hallelujah | OhEmGee Worship Session

This song - Song of angels (Ndi Mo Zi) by Judikay - blesses me so much. Anytime it comes up during a worship session, I can't just explain what it does to me.

Like I must have said before, when I get to a deeper level of worship, I just go straight to singing in my mother tongue (Yoruba) - by the way the deepest level definitely is speaking in tongues.

Anyways, here is my version of the song and also an attempt to sing it in Yoruba, I hope it blesses you.

Praise Tune for the day - Episode 1

If we decide to start singing and dancing to God every second of every day for the rest of our lives, it will stiil not be enough for all He has done for us, not to talk of what He is doing or will still do.

Therefore, hopefully, as often as I can, I will be selecting tunes from the broad spectrum and catalogue of songs of praises in the general church domain, and I will try and reproduce them as groovy and as danceable as I can in my own style - hopefully it will encourage you to dance and give praises to God with a very merry and cheerful heart as often as possible.

Here is the 1st  episode

My 4year Old Daughter sings WE ARE THE WORLD by Michael Jackson

I was absolutely wowed when my daughter (with her other classmates) sang, as part of their presentations during their preschool graduation, "we are the world" by Michael Jackson.

I just had to get her to come record it specially in my studio and I cant still believe she knows the lyrics from the beginning to the end (even me sef no know am lol).

Watch and enjoy

God never forgets us

God's love for us is forever constant and consistent and He will never forget us.

We just need to do our part to tap into this bliss, and that is by dedicating our lives to Him - living according to His will.

I Love You Lord (Yoruba Version)

I love this song so much I had to make the Yoruba version.

Watch and enjoy.

I miss my mom

It has been 10 years since my mom transitioned to glory and every single time I think of the fact that she is not here anymore, I can't just help the tears.

However, I thank God for The Living Hope via the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ and through that I have faith that I will see my mom again eventually and we will all reign with Christ forever, there will be no more sorrows or pains or tears because He shall wipe all tears from our eyes.

I also thank God for sustenance, because I didn't know what I would do without my mom, but God has shown me that He is all I will ever need and He has indeed brought me this far and I know he is still taking me much farther.

These and more are the emotions encapsulated in the video below, I believe it will bless you.
