THE ORCHESTRATION OF FALZ & DOCTOR SID

Lol..No long stories here. Just one of those random crazy ideas that run through my mind every now and then.

Imagine Falz and Dr Sid as Opera singers... what kind of picture can you see?

Well from my angle, this is what their music will sound like.

Big shoutout to Okiemute, the last mtn project fame winner, for helping me out on this one.

My TUNGBALIZED Praise/Worship series (Part 1)

Hey my friend! How are you doing? Happy new month to you.

Ok let me get to it...

My favorite moment in church is when the praise songs are on (I love good music so much - that's why I can't go to a church that doesn't have a good choir to start with - I believe music is the main thing that can be used to connect me to God).

However, I have a small issue...
Most churches nowadays have gone western so their prasie and worship style is very "hillsongish". It is not like there is any problem with that, in fact i think that's the direction the new generations are facing but I just really go crazy for an "Owambe"(Owambe is a yoruba party live band kind of music with a lot of percussion known as "TUNGBA") type of praise (I guess it is because of my Christ Apostolic Church background).

Hence i have decided to be remixing my favorite Church songs to my favorite style and this is what brought about the concept of "TUNGBALIZATION".

This is the 1st episode in the series.

You will find that they are songs you know, I just represented them in a more percussive and danceable traditional style.

Oya go and get your dancing shoes.
